🪐 The Saturn Signs of Millennials

Happy Saturnday :) You may or may not know that I love looking at generational trends in astrology. I presented a webinar last summer for @astrologyvoices’s annual summit called Millennials & Beyond, which detailed my thoughts about the Pluto in Scorpio generation. You can purchase that lecture on my website!
I define Millennials as people w/ Pluto in Scorpio, & Gen Z as people with Pluto in Sagittarius.
I’d like to speak more on the Saturn sub-generations within the Pluto in Scorpio generation. Saturn spends nearly 3 years transiting a sign, so typically you’ll share the same Saturn sign with the people closest in age to you. While Pluto was in Scorpio (1983 - 1995), Saturn moved through Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, & Pisces (individual articles linked). Scroll to the bottom of the page to see the graphic I made detailing the different sub-generations within Pluto in Scorpio.
Saturn is the farthest planet we can see with the naked eye. Saturn represents boundaries, limitations, walls, that which contains & gives form. You can also relate this to the rings that bind the planet Saturn, literally representing a container around the gas giant.
Saturn is connected to societal structures, The System™, governments, & the groups within the groups that keep things running. Change might be activated by Mars or Uranus, but in order to truly enact change, Saturn is key.
Saturn sub-generations show what structures, ideas, & concepts that group is responsible for building & cultivating in society. That work tends to show up strongly around that group’s Saturn return. The Saturn return is the time for that collective group to grow up, step up, & embody the hard work that Saturn demands of us.
I’ll be posting about each Saturn sub-generation within the Pluto in Scorpio generation.
In the meantime, it’s Saturn day & a great time to practice some Saturn charity! That can look like donating to your local bail fund, as Saturn represents those who are imprisoned. Check the link in my bio for some options. You could also donate to a cause that helps the elderly, as Saturn represents older folks as well. Since it’s #pride you might consider an organization like @sageusa!

How do you create structure in the ocean? How do you bind that which doesn’t take form? These paradoxes end up holding the deepest gifts about this sub-generation.
