Learn the glyphs, symbols, and anatomy of the chart before diving into the depths of the system.

Learn about where we came from to better understand where we are now as practicing astrologers in the early 21st century

From the visible seven to the outer planets, astroids, and lunar nodes, we’ll cover all the bases.

The zodiac and ways to divide it, all 12 signs, and the important topic of Essential Dignity will be covered in this lengthy section

From the significations of all 12 houses to learning how to interpret a planet in a house and ruling a house.

Learn about the 5 Ptolemaic aspects, how they get their significations, and how to interpret planets in aspect.

We’ll cover each planet’s cycle with the Sun and how certain phases of each cycle influences how we interpret planets

We’ll spend plenty of time learning how to put it all together, ending the course with a student community reading swap!
Build strong bones for a healthy & confident astrology practice
Not only will we cover the four central components of astrology: planets, signs, houses, and aspects, but we’ll also uncover the rich systems, schemas, and concepts that intertwine these components. We’ll come to learn the classical reasonings that explain the why behind the common delineations of the planets, signs, houses, and aspects.

Hey, I’m Kirah
I'm Kirah, an astrologer, writer, and creative widely acknowledged as a passionate and trusted voice in the field. As a consultant for clients, small businesses, and brands, I bring valuable insights to the table. Having hosted the weekly astrology podcast, 'Cosmic Guidance For All,' and a beloved educational podcast, 'The Strology Show,' I'm dedicated to sharing knowledge.
I’ve facilitated monthly reading swaps and community gatherings, fostering a supportive environment for astrology students and enthusiasts. I’ve also conducted numerous classes, workshops, and intensives imparting the fundamentals of astrology for both students and corporations.
Currently, I'm the co-founder and Chief Creative Officer (CCO) at Stars Align, an astrology-based dating app set to launch in 2024. Simultaneously, I'm actively working on my second book. My expertise has earned recognition in Conde Nast Traveler, Vice, Well + Good, CNN, Wired, Good Morning America, LA Times, and more.

Meredyth is a time steward who delights in infusing care & kindness into processes & workflows. She believes each tiny mundane system we create is an opportunity to bring more hospitality to an experience (yes, she is southern).
Her work has included everything from working as a project manager & business operations coordinator for healers, herbalists, & astrologers to her career working in product operations on tech teams. A former librarian & archivist, she is passionate about information accessibility and will always be excited to make sure students have access to the reference materials and learning tools they need to feel supported in their growth.
Forever inspired by the ultimate group project that is the solar system, she is currently studying & writing about what the planets and philosophies of traditional astrology can teach us about being better stewards of time, project lifecycles, & people’s unique contributions.

All students will have unlimited access to recordings of the live classes & access to a discussion forum to connect with other students about class material in between classes.
Limited # of enrollment spots: To keep the container cozy & ensure you can always access the support you need, there are a limited number of spots for both options! We'll close enrollment once all the spots are filled.

This course is starting from the ground up. It might be a little too much for someone totally brand-new to astrology, but you need no formal training or even much time under your belt in terms of self-study. The only true pre-requisite is that you’re excited about learning astrology!

It depends! Are you familiar with the ins and outs of traditional astrology? If not, then you’ll benefit from this course regardless of your previous astrology knowledge. It would also be a good fit if you feel you have significant gaps in your understanding of the fundamentals of astrology.

Yes! I’m all about the breakout rooms baby. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to connect with and speak directly with other students throughout the course if you are in the live course option. If you are enrolling in the self-paced option, you’ll still have access to our class forum and chats.

Occasionally, there may be sections of the course material that I won’t be able to finish in class and will record and upload after that you would need to catch up on, however, I don’t see that being a regular occurrence. Additionally, there will be optional homework after most classes that should not take longer than an hour to complete.

It’s a low-pressure way to practice your skills, receive a reading, and meet new people! We will host a reading swap at the end of our time together for the live course students to help you practice the skills you’ve learned and gain confidence in your abilities.

There isn’t any one-on-one time guaranteed with Kirah, but there will be plenty of opportunities to ask her questions, both live in class and in our class forum.
